BEST COFFEE SHOPS IN DALLAS

1. WHITE RHINO

Website: White Rhino
Hours: 7 AM – 5 PM (Varies by location)
Location: Downtown, Deep Ellum
Laptop Friendly: Yes

White Rhino is an incredible cafe with multiple locations around Dallas. I believe most, if not all locations, have good seating options to get work done. I know that the Deep Ellum location is spacious but the Downtown location is smaller. As for parking, since most locations are in popular areas, street parking or lots down the street are usually the cases. It could be worse, I guess that is just city living.

2. HATCHWAYS CAFE

Website: Hatchway Cafe
Hours: 8 AM – 7 PM
Location: Victory Park
Laptop Friendly: Yes

I love this cafe! Hatchways Cafe is very laptop friendly as not only is it a pretty large cafe, it’s a workspace as well. You get your first day free at the workspace so I suggest taking advantage of it if you are in the Dallas area.

I used to live right next to this cafe and went all the time. The coffee is great and so is the food.

3. FICTION COFFEE

Website: Fiction Coffee
Hours: 6 AM – 5 PM
Location: Old East Dallas
Laptop Friendly: Yes (Limited space)

This is the coziest little coffee shop. During the holidays they have Christmas-inspired drinks served in holiday mugs – so cute! This is a smaller space with limited parking and seating. If you are going during a busy time, you will likely have trouble finding a table and potentially parking.

4. HOUNDSTOOTH COFFEE

Website: Houndstooth
Hours: 7 AM – 5 PM
Location: Henderson
Laptop Friendly: Yes

I love the vibe of this cafe. It’s a great place to work and their coffee is delicious. Parking can be a bit difficult but I have always found a spot in the small lots surrounding Houndstooth

5. LA LA LAND KIND CAFE

Website: La La Land
Hours: 7 AM – 7 PM (Varies by location)
Location: Oaklawn, Greenville, Northeast Dallas
Laptop Friendly: Yes

Alright I know there are a lot of mixed reviews about this cafe. It’s very aesthetic, you’ve probably seen it on Instagram, and there are multiple locations in Dallas. All locations I have been to have plenty of seating, but on a weekend – they are packed. Like way too packed. I would avoid going on a weekend (at least the Greenville location) because the last time I went, I waited over an HOUR for my coffee and food.

I will say, their coffee is good, their matcha is great, and their avocado toast is some of the best I’ve ever had!

6. FAIRGROUNDS COFFEE & TEA

Website: Fairgrounds
Hours: 6 AM – 6 PM
Location: Knox
Laptop Friendly: Yes

Fairgrounds is located in the Knox area right across from Trader Joe’s, I always park in the Trader Joe’s lot when I come here. Their coffee is great but I haven’t tried their food yet. It’s a great place to work because there is a good amount of seating.

7. MERIT COFFEE CO.

Website: Merit
Hours: 7 AM – 6 PM (Varies by location)
Location: Preston Hollow, Deep Ellum, Highland Park
Laptop Friendly: Yes

I have only visited the Deep Ellum location and I loved it! Plenty of seating and the coffee was so good. Deep Ellum also has parking lots in a few areas. Merit has locations in the Austin area as well, so check them out if you are in Austin!

8. MAGNOLIAS SOUS LE PONT

Website: Magnolia – Sous le Pont
Hours: 7 AM – 5 PM
Location: Victory Park
Laptop Friendly: Yes

This is one of the best coffee shops in Dallas and it might actually be my favorite. The vibe in here is amazing, their coffee is delicious, and there is plenty of seating. I would normally walk here from my apartment or park out in the street in front. Because there are so many buildings around it could be difficult to find parking but there are a couple of parking lots around.

9. BREWED + PRESSED

Website: Brewed + Pressed
Hours: 7 AM – 8 PM
Location: Victory Park
Laptop Friendly: Yes

Another favorite! This cafe is located very close to Magnolia’s, within walking distance. Try the honey cinnamon latte – it’s so freaking good. Brewed + Pressed is smaller, but I have never had a problem trying to find a table to work at. Parking seemed a bit difficult so I always walked when I lived nearby.

10. OPENING BELL COFFEE

Website: Opening Bell Coffee
Hours: 7 AM – 3 PM (Varies throughout the week)
Location: Design District
Laptop Friendly: Yes

Located right across from the Canvas Hotel, this is one of the most eclectic and unique cafes I have been to in Dallas. The vibe here was great and there is plenty of tables for getting work done. There is also parking around the building or you can park in the Canvas Hotel lot.

11. ASCENSION COFFEE

Website: Ascension Coffee
Hours: 6:30 AM – 6 PM
Location: Victory Park, Oak Lawn, Design District
Laptop Friendly: Yes

Ascension is amazing! They have delicious food and coffee. I have only been to the Victory Park location and this space is huge – plenty of tables for work or to enjoy a meal. They offer a full brunch menu all day, and it’s good.

12. LDU COFFEE

Website: LDU Coffee
Hours: 6:45 AM – 4 PM
Location: Henderson, Preston Hollow
Laptop Friendly: No

LDU is another one of my favorites. This is an Australian coffee bar that offers quick and delicious coffee. What makes this cafe unique is that they do not have wifi or many tables. They encourage talking with one another so if you are meeting at a cafe to socialize with a friend, this is the place to go! But don’t expect to get any work done. There is plenty of parking nearby.

13. WINDOW SEAT

Website: Window Seat Cafe
Hours: 7 AM – 3 PM
Location: Greenville
Laptop Friendly: Yes

You have to visit this Dallas coffee shop located in Greenville! It’s one of the most unique cafes I have ever been to as everything this themed like an airplane, it’s the cutest place ever. There is also a good about of table space as well as parking in the front and back of the building.

14. FOXTROT MARKET

Website: Foxtrot Market
Hours: 6 AM – 10 PM (Hours vary throughout the week)
Location: Uptown, Knox
Laptop Friendly: Yes (Limited seating)

Foxtrot is unique because it’s not only a cafe, but a market where you can purchase snacks, drinks, small meals, and knick-knacks. As for workspace, in both locations, I always find the seating full. It’s pretty limited. The parking situation in Uptown isn’t the greatest, you will likely have to find street parking. The location in Knox has a parking lot right near the cafe. Also, the coffee is pretty good.

15. SIP STIR COFFEE HOUSE

Website: Sip Stir
Hours: 7 AM – 6 PM
Location: West Village
Laptop Friendly: Yes

West Village is one of my favorite locations in Dallas, so I love Sip Stir Coffee House. It’s spacious, perfect for working. And I love that it’s near all the cute shops. You can shop around after getting work done or it’s a great place to meet up with a friend for coffee. Parking is also very accessible here since West Village has parking garages.

And that’s a wrap on the best coffee shops in Dallas! I will continue to add to this list as I visit more cafes in the city but for now, I hope this gave you an idea of your next place to visit in Dallas.
