More Las Vegas articles:

This post is all about where to stay in Las Vegas on the strip.

For each Las Vegas hotel, I have included a link to check room rates, an overall price point for the property, and a location ranking. Although all hotels are on the Las Vegas strip, the location ranking suggests how central the hotel is located on the strip.

The strip is about 4 miles long – so you won’t find yourself walking from one end to the other. If the hotel is in the center of it all, within walking distance of many other places – it will have a higher rank. If the property is a bit out of the way – lower ranking. Alright, let’s get into the article!

BEST LUXURY HOTELS ON THE LAS VEGAS STRIP

1. ENCORE AT THE WYNN

Check Rates: Encore at the Wynn
Price: $$$$
Location: 4/5

If you are visiting Las Vegas for a short time, you will likely want to spend most of your time on the strip. And that’s why I am suggesting these hotels. There are countless different hotel options to choose from all in different price ranges.

For more of a luxurious stay on the Las Vegas strip, check out the Encore at the Wynn. The Wynn is generally a more high-end hotel – you get this vibe just by walking around inside.

There are plenty of high-end shops, restaurants, cocktail bars, and more at the Wynn. It is a beautiful property but does have a higher price tag compared to other hotels on the strip.

2. RESORT WORLD

Check Rates: Resort World Las Vegas
Price: $$ – $$$$
Location: 3/5

This is a new hotel (actually a group of hotels) located on the north end of the strip. There are three hotels, a Hilton, the Conrad, and the Crockfords at Resort World.

Essentially the Hilton is your most affordable option, the Conrad is more upscale than the Hilton, and the Crockfords is the luxury hotel at Resort World. So there is an option for everyone.

I have stayed at the Conrad at Resort World and loved it. It’s a bit more lowkey than the other popular Vegas hotels but it’s super nice. The hotel was very clean and new. There is a fun rooftop bar and restaurant along with many other nice places to eat at the Conrad.

As for location – the properties are situated near the very end of the strip by Circus Circus, which is a pro to some people and a con for others. Because it’s farther up the strip away from the center of it all you can’t walk from hotel to hotel. I didn’t mind this because I usually take an uber to get around Las Vegas anyway.

It’s just a short ride to the center of the strip, and the casino here was much less crowded than the more popular Las Vegas strip hotels.

If you are looking for a very nice hotel but more of a lowkey/classy vibe for mid-price ranges, Conrad Las Vegas is the place for you. If you want luxury – check out the Crockfords, and for a budget option – the Hilton.

3. THE BELLAGIO

Check Rates: The Bellagio
Price: $$$
Location: 5/5

The Bellagio is another iconic Las Vegas hotel. Located right next to Ceasar’s Palace it’s got plenty of restaurants, bars, a casino, and of course the incredible fountains in front. The Bellagio fountains are a must to see in Vegas.

Another favorite in the Bellagio is the conservatory, it’s always decorated for the season and the detail is incredible.

4. VENETIAN

Check Rates: The Venetian
Price: $$$
Location: 5/5

The Venetian Las Vegas is a 5-star hotel and resort with a casino, spas, restaurants, the iconic gondola rides, and more. The Venetian offers standard hotel rooms as well as suites.
I have stayed here a number of times and I love it.

Its location is prime, as it’s in the center of everything, within walking distance of other hotels such as the Palazzo and the Mirage. For the price point, it’s very nice.

Keep in mind, the price point for all of these hotels will also vary depending on what time of year it is and what is going on in the city at the moment. So I suggest checking out the links I have attached to check rates at the time you are planning your trip.

5. PALAZZO

Check Rates: The Palazzo
Price: $$$
Location: 5/5

The Palazzo is technically part of the Venetian resort, a newer property compared to the Venetian. The Palazzo and the Venetian are connected by the grand canal shopping complex. The suites in the Palazzo are typically larger than what you find in many other Vegas hotels.

As for price, the Palazzo and Venetian are relatively the same. I have stayed in both properties, and with the Palazzo being newer and somewhat “nicer” it has a more chill vibe to it than the Venetian. But The Venetian is only a short walk away.

On the other hand, the Venetian has a bigger casino and more bars & restaurants. Definitely more going on here, but quite honestly they are relatively similar.

6. PARIS LAS VEGAS

Check Rates: Paris Hotel Las Vegas
Price: $$
Location: 5/5

The Paris Hotel and Casino is located right in the center of the strip across from the Bellagio. It’s in a prime location, pretty affordable, and has many great bars and restaurants.

One of my favorites is Vanderpump Paris – a cocktail bar with the most extravagant drinks. You have to check it out when you are in Vegas! Mon Ami Gabi and the Eiffel Tower Restaurant are also great places to dine.

7. THE COSMOPOLITAN

Check Rates: The Cosmopolitan
Price: $$
Location: 5/5
The Cosmopolitan is a great option for affordable luxury. At times during the off-season, you can find rooms for under $100. It’s definitely a wonderful location and there are many good bars, restaurants, and shows here in the Cosmo. One of my favorites is the iconic Chandelier bar.

8. LUXOR

Check Rates: Luxor
Price: $
Location: 4/5

If you are looking for the best budget hotels on the Las Vegas Strip, Luxor is a great place. Now, It is old, and of course not as nice as other resorts on the strip, but it does the job. You can book a standard hotel room for a pretty reasonable price.

As for location, Luxor is near the end of the strip by the Mandalay Bay hotel, and that’s why I gave it a 4 out of 5 for location. Although you can’t walk to too many hotels nearby – I always find myself taking an uber anyway. It’s simple, and sometimes quicker than walking to a hotel next door since the hotels are massive.

Luxor has a casino, food options, and some other activities to do here. Although I wouldn’t necessarily recommend eating here because the food honestly is not that great and you can find so many better food options. I have stayed in Luxor before with some friends, and I thought it was a great budget hotel in Las Vegas.

A pro about budget hotels in Las Vegas – you will typically find cheaper tables here. So if you like to play blackjack, or want to learn – I suggest finding the cheapest tables so you don’t lose your money so quickly.

9. THE STRAT HOTEL

Check Rates: The Strat
Price: $
Location: 2/5

The Strat Hotel and Casino is a budget hotel in Las Vegas. It’s a three-star hotel located near the Sahara. It is a cheap hotel – so don’t expect anything fancy like the others.

If you are trying to visit Las Vegas on a budget (which is very hard to do) then the Strat Hotel would be a good option. As for location, it is pretty far from the center of the strip, but that’s why there are uber and taxis.

10. TROPICANA

Check Rates: Tropicana
Price: $
Location: 4/5

The Tropicana Hotel is another budget hotel option in Las Vegas. It’s a four-star hotel – so a bit nicer than the Strat. And this property is more centrally located than Luxor and especially the Strat. It’s right across from the Excalibur Hotel & Casino.
