THE KIXBY HOTEL
THE LOCATION
The Kixby Hotel is located right in central Midtown on West 35th Street. It’s conveniently situated near the Empire State Building, Madison Square Garden, and more.
You really can’t go wrong with staying in Midtown Manhattan. There is plenty to do in this area – more on what to do in Midtown later in this guide.

CHECKING INTO THE KIXBY HOTEL
Everything from the Empire State Building view, rooftop bar, cozy guest rooms, and sophisticated atmosphere made the Kixby a great place to stay in Midtown Manhattan. There are also countless things to do within walking distance of the property.
The Kixby is about 17 miles from JFK and 9 miles from LaGuardia. Check-in time is 4 PM and check-out time is 11 AM and they do offer luggage storage.
AMENITIES AT THE KIXBY HOTEL
LOOKUP ROOFTOP BAR
During the summer, The Lookup Rooftop Bar is open for guests to enjoy the iconic New York City views with a cocktail. Even if the bar isn’t open, I suggest going up to take in the pretty NYC skyline.
LOT 15 @ KIXBY
The Kixby offers a continental breakfast daily from 7 AM to 9:30 AM in the lobby lounge, Lot 15. This self-service buffet is available for purchase upon arrival.
In the evening, Lot 15 @ Kixby is a trendy cocktail bar and lounge. The perfect place to enjoy a drink and admire abstract art.
BLACK TAP 35TH
For craft burgers and beer, make sure to check out Black Tap 35th located in the Kixby. The restaurant is open daily for lunch and dinner.

THE ROOMS
The Kixby offers a variety of different rooms. They offer king and queen rooms, suites, and family rooms – so there is something for everyone. I loved the vintage feel of the room with modern touches.

WHAT TO DO IN MIDTOWN
Midtown is a great central location in New York City. Here, you are close to many iconic sites and a short drive away from other popular neighborhoods. I’ve listed a few highlights of Midtown NYC below:

- Times Square
- Madison Square Garden
- Shopping on Fifth Avenue
