There is no shortage of amazing coffee shops in Antigua. Whether you are looking for a quick takeaway cup or a nice quaint spot to get work done, you’ll find a great spot.
Artista de Cafe has plenty of seating and the ambience is wonderful. Its trendy aesthetic adds to the atmosphere. They offer wifi and have plenty of seating – great for getting work done or catching up with a friend.
Artista de Cafe has another location located about 10 minutes outside of Antigua that functions as a coworking space. This spot is open from Monday to Friday 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
2. 12 Onzas

12 Onzas serves delicious coffee and light bites. It has a wonderful atmosphere and a few tables for working. There is limited seating but if you can snag a spot it’s such a nice vibe inside this cute Antigua coffee shop.
I spent a morning here working from my laptop and enjoying a cup of coffee. It was the perfect way to start the day.

Okay, I know you are thinking why the heck is there a Starbucks included in this guide? Well, it’s because this is considered to be one of the most beautiful Starbucks out there. Yes, the menu is essentially the same but the atmosphere at this location is absolutely stunning.
There is a serene outdoor patio with plenty of seating. The perfect spot for working or catching up with a friend. It really is the most beautiful Starbucks I’ve ever visited.
4. Fat Cat Coffee House

Fat Cat Coffee House is a hidden gem tucked away on a quiet street in Antigua. Not only do they offer coffee but homemade cookies, cakes, and sandwiches as well. This is some of the best coffee in Antigua Guatemala as it’s been among the top 10 coffee shops in Antigua since opening in 2010.

Del Otro Lado is a hidden gem and here you’ll find some of the best coffee in Antigua Guatemala. They do have wifi but the cafe itself is small. If you plan to work for a few hours go early to snag a spot.
Del Otro Lado is close to the cathedral – so right in the center of town. Their coffee beans are all locally sourced from female farmers throughout Guatemala! They have more than just coffee – you can find local products such as craft beers, meats, cheeses, and kombucha.

Rainbow Café is a classic in Antigua. It’s been open since 1992, making it one of the oldest restaurants and cafes in Antigua. It’s a restaurant, a bar, and a bookshop!
They offer a variety of international dishes made with fresh ingredients at affordable prices. You can visit for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. There are also plenty of tables and they do have wifi, it’s not the strongest though.
9. Arbol Coffee
