The Best Beach Clubs in Tulum – Helpful Tips

There are a few things to note before you plan on visiting Tulum’s beach clubs. Most of the beach clubs will be found on the main Tulum Beach Road. This stretch of beach is quite long and you’ll need a car to get from one end to the other. So keep this in mind if you plan on visiting multiple day clubs in Tulum.

It’s typical for Tulum beach clubs to have an entrance fee or a minimum spend. Essentially you’ll be asked to spend a minimum amount of money on food and drinks to access the beach facilities. This could range anywhere from $30 USD to $100+ USD.

Some day clubs are very pricy so do your research before you visit! (read this blog post:)) Also, keep in mind that some clubs do have dress codes. These dress codes typically apply to their nightclubs. Many of the beach clubs in Tulum are also hotels and nightclubs.

Account for traffic. The main Tulum Beach road can get busy and takes a while to get from place to place.

There is no entrance fee here, however, you do have to purchase something to use their facilities. I suggest going for lunch or a few cocktails and you’ll have access to their beds, towels, bathrooms, and white sandy beach. Their cocktails and appetizers are delicious!

They have various seating options; double beds on the beach, shaded beachfront tables, and a restaurant and palapa. Ziggy’s also has live must daily from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM. This is certainly one of the best places to spend an afternoon in Tulum.

When is The Best Time to Visit Tulum?

December through April is the high season in Tulum and it’s warm, sunny, and beautiful. Yet, it is more crowded.

Although this would be a great time to visit I suggest visiting during the shoulder season. Either November or the beginning of May. You may get some rain in November but showers typically don’t last too long.

You’ll find that prices are much more affordable during the shoulder season or the off-season. This is helpful if you are visiting Tulum on a budget.
