How to Get to Surfers Paradise
First, let’s talk about how to get to Surfers Paradise. You’ll either arrive in the city by plane, bus, or car. If you have a rental car you can easily reach this city from wherever you’re visiting from.
Furthermore, if you don’t want to drive a rental car, a great way to get around Australia is the Greyhound Australia buses. During my east coast trip, I started in Sydney went up the coast to Byron Bay, and from there took about a 2-hour bus from Byron Bay to Surfers Paradise.
If you’d like to fly (certainly the quickest option), you can fly into Gold Coast Airport (OOL), the nearest airport to Surfers Paradise, located about 20 kilometers south of the city. You can take a taxi, Uber, or shuttle from the airport to the center of the city.
