The Top Instagrammable places in Singapore
1. Merlion Park
Location: 1 Fullerton Rd, Singapore
I’m sure you’ve seen photos of Merlion Park all over the internet. Merlion Park is located near Marina Bay, in the heart of the city. It’s where you’ll find the famous Merlion statue that spouts water from its mouth into Marina Bay.
This is a popular spot in the city due to its panoramic views of Marina Bay Sands, the Singapore Flyer, and its beautiful waterfront scenery.
Merlion Park is not only a great Singapore Instagram spot but also a nice area for a stroll by the water. There are benches, restaurants, and you can even take a river cruise if you’d like.
2. Old Hill Street Police Station
Location: 140 Hill St, Singapore
The Old Hill Street Police Station was once the operating police station of the Singapore Police Force at Hill Street in downtown Singapore. Now, it’s a historical landmark and a beautiful building to photograph.
I love this Singapore Instagram spot because of all the colors. It’s quite a unique building with windows in every color of the rainbow. It’s worth visiting whether you are into photography or not. And it’s right in the center of town so you’ll likely run into it while exploring the city.
3. Haji Lane
Location: Haji Ln, Singapore
Haji Lane is famous for its eclectic atmosphere with a variety of vintage shops, boutiques, and trendy bars and restaurants. I love this area. It’s so freaking cute and there is so much to see!
The shopping here is on another level and if you enjoy thrifting, you are in luck. Haji Lane is the place to find good thrift shops.
It’s also obviously a wonderful Singapore Instagram spot. There are so many colors, and vibey shops, and buildings. Haji Lane is a popular spot for urban photography.
4. Peranakan Houses
Location: 287 Joo Chiat Rd, Singapore
Located in the Katong District, the Peranakan Houses are a group of colorful houses and one of the best Instagrammable places in Singapore. The Peranakan houses were built in 1927 with fascinating architectural features.
The colorful tiles and intricate wooden carvings give these houses a unique touch. They are so vibrant and a great photo location in Singapore.
5. Cloud Forest
Location: 18 Marina Gardens Dr, #03-2/03, Singapore
Visiting the Cloud Forest in Singapore is a must. And not only for the photos. This had always been on my Singapore bucket list and I wasn’t sure what to initially expect but after visiting, it truly blew my expectations out of the water.
It’s not only the “cloud forest” it’s a full experience with different attractions and interactive rooms. It was so cool. The highlight is the central waterfall, but there is also the Cloud Forest Gallery, Cloud Walk, and Cloud Forest Theater.
It’s captivating, and educational, and gives visitors a unique opportunity to explore the biodiversity of cloud forests.
I suggest visiting when the forest mists which happens at 10 AM, 12 PM, 2 PM, 4 PM, 6 PM, and 8 PM. The Cloud Forest is also inside so it’s a great afternoon activity to get a break from the heat.
Purchase tickets to visit Cloud Forest here.
6. Changi Airport | The Jewel
Location: 60 Airport Blvd, Singapore
One of the best Singapore Instagram spots is the Jewel at Changi Airport. I’m sure you’ve seen these photos all over the internet – I mean, Changi Airport is considered the best airport in the world. And I understand why after visiting.
You won’t want to miss the Jewel when you land at Changi Airport. I suggest allocating some time either when you land or when you are leaving Singapore to spend some time in the airport. It sounds silly, but it’s a must if you are at the world’s best airport!
You’ll want to head over to Terminal 1 to see the Jewel. There are also so many other things to see in the airport such as a butterfly garden, movie theater, shopping, and more. You can even take cooking classes here!
If you are hungry when you land there’s a Shake Shack right next to the Jewel. It’s one of my fav fast food burger spots.
Pro Tip: If you are spending a while in Changi Airport and don’t want to carry around your luggage you can store it at the airport for 11 to 20 dollars. This is also great if you have a long layover in Singapore and want to explore the city for a bit.
7. Sultan Mosque
Location: 3 Muscat St, Singapore
The Sultan Mosque is one of Singapore’s most prominent mosques. The mosque is a symbol of Islamic heritage in Singapore. It’s also an architectural masterpiece. You’ll notice the traditional Islamic design mixed with Malay influences. It’s a stunning building and a great place to photograph in Singapore.
8. Little India | House of Tan Teng Niah
Location: 37 Kerbau Rd, Singapore
Little India is another one of the best areas to visit in Singapore. Its vibrant and bustling atmosphere makes Little India a great spot to photograph. You can also take photos with the colorful House of Tan Teng Niah.
9. Library@Orchard
Location: 277 Orchard Rd, #30-12 / #04-11 orchardgateway, Singapore
I love the unique interior of library@orchard. This is a public library in Singapore located on the fifth floor of the Ngee Ann City Shopping Mall. It’s also a nice place to chill and get out of the busy city.
10. Gardens by The Bay | The Super Tree Grove
Location: 18 Marina Gardens Dr, Singapore
Gardens by the Bay is obviously one of the best things to do in Singapore and of course a very popular photo spot. You need to make sure you visit the Supertree Grove during the day and at night.
I suggest booking a ticket to do the OCBC Skyway during the day. You’ll get a unique perspective of Gardens by The Bay and the city itself. Come back at night when the Supertree Grove comes alive with the amazing light show. The Gardens by The Bay light show takes place at 7:45 PM and 8:45 PM daily.

Singapore is a great place to visit year-round. The climate is relatively consistent throughout the year – warm temperatures and high humidity.

All and all Singapore is a great place to visit any time of the year. It completely depends on your preference.
